For the second time this season we were held to a 1-1 draw but bottom side Albion Rovers as we were still left looking for our first win at Cliftonhill since February 2006.

Two changes saw the unavailable Talbot and Swann out of the side with Mullen returning after his ban while his recent goal scoring run earned a start for Skelly.

Our first chance of the afternoon came with seven minutes gone when Morrison tipped a 20 yard shot from Cox over the bar.

However three minutes later it was Rovers who opened the scoring when McGurn brought down Wilson in the box and Jamie GALLAGHER sotted home the resultant spot kick.

Our equaliser was also to come from the spot 11 minutes later when Miller was brought down by Murdoch and Josh SKELLY continued his fine scoring run beating Morrison from the 12 yard spot.

Fraser then saw a 20 yard shot go over while we were soon dealt a blow as Cox hobbled off injured.

His replacement Allan saw a header cleared off the goal line following a Fraser corner ten minutes from the break.

Five minutes into the second half Renton sent a shot over while Escuriola headed wide following a corner by Murdoch.

With 20 minutes to go the Spaniard sent a long range shot wide before Allan latched onto a long ball but saw his shot go across the face of the Rovers goal and past the post.

Then with eight minutes remaining we were reduced to ten men when Buchanan was sent off for a foul on Gallagher.

Both sides had their chances to snatch all three points in the closing stages with Deas heading wide while Watters had a shot blocked.
