A goal from the last kick of the ball saw Elgin turn a half time deficit into a second win over us this season.

There was one change to the side which had won at Berwick the previous week with Jordyn Sheerin coming back into the starting XI and Kyle Miller dropping to the bench.

The visitors had the first chance of the afternoon with two minutes gone when Sutherland shot past the post following a Lowdon corner.

In reply Sheerin sent a shot wide at the other end after being set up by Renton while a long free kick from Omar was comfortably held by McGurn and a shot from Cameron went over the bar.

At the other end Scott saw a shot held by Gourlay but with 27 minutes gone we broke the deadlock when a 22 yard shot from Blair Malcolm took a slight deflection on its way into the Elgin net.

We then had a good chance to double our advantage ten minutes later when Marsh sent Cox through but he stumbled and the chance was gone.

It took Elgin just two minutes of the second half to get back level when a long ball found Greg MORRISON who rounded the advancing McGurn to slot home.

Both sides had their chances but just as it looked like a point a piece another long ball found Shane SUTHERLAND three minutes into stoppage time with the striker firing home an angled shot with the last kick of the afternoon.
