A goal nine minutes from time from substitute Jordan Sheerin saw us earn a point as Rovers broke their run of 12 successive defeats.
Sheerin was one of five players who had dropped out of the side which had went down to Peterhead the previous Saturday.
Others to drop out were Talbot, Marsh, Cox and Smith with Deas, Scullion, Skelly, Fraser and Renton coming in.
The first chance of the afternoon came with 15 minutes gone when Renton was brought down by Wharton but Skelly’s subsequent free kick went wide of the post.
Minutes later at the other end a long shot from Fisher was turned around the post by McGurn and minutes later the keeper pulled off a similar save from the same player.
Rovers opened the scoring with 25 minutes gone when Scullion lost possession to Lewis McLEAR who curled a low 17 yard shot into the bottom corner of the net.
In quick reply Mullen shot over from the edge of the box while a 20 shot from trialist Fraser was tipped over the bar by Rovers keeper Morrison.
McLear then sent an effort wide while Pyper headed past the back post following a Fraser corner.
Six minutes into the second half McGurn tipped a McLear header over the bar and with 20 minutes to go a Cox 20 yarder was saved by Morrison.
The equaliser however eventually came with nine minutes remaining when Jordyn SHEERIN got on the end of a Mullen free kick to head home his eighth goal of the season.
Then in stoppage time Cox sent a curling shot just over the bar while a Sheerin shot was held by the diving Morrison.
