We bounced back from the midweek Irn Bru Cup defeat with our biggest league win since we beat Livingston by a similar score in April 2014.

There were two changes with David McGurn coming back in goals and Martin Scott returning to the line up while Ryan Goodfellow dropped to the bench along with David Cox who had gone off injured in the midweek game.

Berwick had the first chance of the game with two minutes gone when Healy saw a 20 yard shot saved by McGurn. Scott then advanced into the visitor’s box but was crowded out.

Midway through the half a long shot from Malcolm was saved by keeper Brennan following a Mullen corner.

The deadlock was broken with 32 minutes when a Mullen corner reached Jordyn SHEERIN who headed home his seventh goal of the season.

Three minutes later we went further ahead when Sheerin sent the ball across the face of the goal and Smith’s shot was cleared off the line by Wilson with Martin SCOTT heading home from the clearance.

Then as the first half drew to a close Sheerin sent a shot just wide after getting on the end of a Smith cross.

Ten minutes into the second half Scullion saw a header from a Mullen corner cleared off the line while at the other end Laverty sent a shot over the bar.

Just short of the hour a close range Malcolm shot came off the post but a third goal was only delayed until the 66th minute when Pat Scullion fired home following a Mullen corner.

Then two minutes later it was four as Robbie BUCHANAN sent a curling shot past Brennan.

There was drama with 15 minutes to go when Cox and Wilson clashed at the halfway line with both players being booked while Miller who had got involved in the aftermath was sent off. Then minutes later Wilson of the visitors was sent off.
