Despite taking the lead early in the second half, the young Cowden side went down to a second successive defeat at Station Park.

After a goal less opening 45 minutes Jack COWAN broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half slipping the ball under for Cowden keeper Grant Adam.

The Loons, who were looking for a four successive win, however scored four goals in the closing 30 minutes.

Matthew AITKEN bundled the ball home from close range with 62 minutes gone following a long throw in.

Two goals in a five minute spell then killed the game as a contest. Firstly Sam CLARK fired home from the edge of the box with 70 minutes gone, then five minutes later Michael KENNEDY blasted home a free kick, also from the edge of the box.

As the game went deep into injury time the Loons added a fourth from the penalty spot with AITKEN getting his second goal of the night.
