Gary Bollan’s first game in charge saw us comeback to take a point from Annan to end a five game losing league run.

The new manager made several changes to the side which had lost to Elgin the previous week.

Both Mullen and Syme were suspended after being sent off against Annan while Rutherford, Buchanan, Morris and Garden dropped out of the starting line up.

Annan had the first real chance of the afternoon when a free kick from Sinnamon floated over the bar, and minutes later Murphy sent a shot just wide of the post.

At the other end Muirhead latched onto a long kick from McGurn but sent his shot wide with just Atkinson to beat.

Midway through the first half Miller sent a long range effort just past the post and just past the half hour Smith sent in a shot which was held by the diving McGurn.

Sinnamon then sent the ball over while a 20 yard shot by Smith then went narrowly wide before McGurn blocked a close range effort from Sinnamon.

Moxon then saw a shot deflected for a corner with the eventual clearance by Pyper falling to Aidan SMITH who fired home from 16 yards to give the visitors the lead three minutes from the break.

Then as the first half drew to a close Muirhead saw a shot saved by Atkinson and his follow up effort was then cleared by Brannan.

The second half opened with Scullion sending the ball to Brad Smith but his shot went across the face of the Annan goal.

McGurn then pulled off two good saves within a minute to deny both Smith and Sinnamon before Smith sent another effort wide.

Just after the hour Muirhead sent another close range effort wide but with 69 minutes gone we got back on level terms when Kyle MILLER fired home a low drive into the bottom corner of the net from 25 yards.

Minutes later Malcolm saw a shot blocked by Atkinson while Miller tried his luck with another long range effort which went just over.

Then with three minutes to go sub Garden saw a shot saved by Atkinson.
