It was a case of de ja vu in our last home game as we went down to a headed goal midway through the first half just like the previous week at Montrose.
It was a reshuffled side which took the field with Muirhead dropping to the bench along with Swann, with Buchanan and Miller coming back into the starting line up.
Berwick had parted company with manager John Coughlin the previous Tuesday and one time Cowden youth player Myles Allan was in charge of the side.
The only goal on a Sunny afternoon came with 18 minutes gone when McKenna sent over a corner and former Cowden man Aaron MURRELL rose to head home at the back post.
Visiting keeper McCorrie saved from both Syme and Brad Smith as we looked to get back into the match.
Scullion sent a couple of efforts wide for the visitors while Stewart brought out a good save from McGovern just before the break.
The start of the second half saw McCorrie deny both Mullen and Buchanan, while Mullen again came close on a couple of occasions.
On the counter attack Berwick had a few chances with McGovern saving a long range Thomson effort while Irving saw a few shots saved by the keeper in injury time.
