A dramatic second half saw the young Celts comeback to knock us out of the Irn Bru Cup on Tuesday night as we ended the match with ten men.
We opened the game brightly and in the first minute Renton sent over a cross from the right which Todorov headed just wide.
Then at the other end, Aitchison found Thomson with a low cross but McGurn dived to deny him.
A blistering start continued and Brian Ross setup Renton, who held off a challenge, before unleashing a shot which deflected off McCart and rolled past the goal.
Miller then fired in a low 12 yard drive which brought out another good save from McGurn.
Doohan then denied TODOROV, blocking his shot, but the Bulgarian scored his third goal of the season on the half hour when he sent an angled shot through the keeper’s legs.
However Doohan redeemed himself six minutes later when he blocked a close range effort from Renton.
The second half was just six minutes old when the visitors got back on level terms when Jack AITCHISON latched onto a long ball and slotted a low shot from 14 yard into the bottom left hand corner.
The winning goal came in 71 minutes when a Thomson shot crashed off the bar and McGurn failed to hold the rebound, allowing former Fife Elite Academy graduate Paul Joseph CROSSAN to fire home.
Four minutes later our hopes of getting back into the match were dealt a blow when Turner was sent off as he was being replaced by Glen with the substitution subsequently not taking place.
There after the game then turned into a bit of a niggly affair with Brett, Mullen and Glen, who eventually got on, being booked in the closing stages.
