Our season proper opened with a narrow defeat from Premiership Inverness in our first Betfred Cup group match.
Ten new players made their competitive debuts for us with only Dean Brett surviving from last season’s side in the starting line up.
After coming close on several occasions the visitors opened the scoring after 13 minutes when Ross DRAPER was on hand to slot home a cut back from Boden.
However ten minutes later we were back on level terms when good work by Moore saw him pick out Dean BRETT who shot home.
The winner came with 16 minutes to go when from a Vigurs corner Gary WARREN headed home via the underside of the crossbar.
