We kept our championship hopes alive with a second half equaliser from Gareth Wardlaw at a blustery Gayfield.
There were two changes to the side which had lost narrowly at Peterhead the previous Saturday with Mark Baxter and Mark Ramsay replacing Brian Fairbairn and Jon Robertson.
Arbroath, looking to avoid the relegation play offs, came close to breaking the deadlock after eight minutes when Redman latched onto a Dorris cross but his shot bounced off the post to safety.
At the other end Wardlaw came close and McGregor was unlucky to see a header bounce off the top of the crossbar.
It was however Arbroath who opened the scoring four minutes from the interval when Keith Gibson side stepped Mbu before firing a powerful low drive past Hay.
Our equaliser came with 14 minutes to go. A long range shot from Mbu was tipped over the bar by Hill and from the resultant corner McGregor flicked the ball into the path of Gareth Wardlaw who slotted the ball home from close range.
As the game drew to a close Wardlaw came close to grabbing a winner but his low shot was well saved by Hill.
