Cowdenbeath FC 4  Stirling Albion 4

Our first home development team match since mid October saw us share eight goals with league leaders Stirling Albion.

 

It took only five minutes for us to open the scoring when Declan BYRNE was on the end of a Callaghan corner to head home.

 

After twice coming close Ross KAVANAGH slotted home an equaliser for the visitors in 21 minutes but just two minutes later we were back in front when Craig JOHNSTON shot home from close range after connecting with a Mitchell cross.

 

However on the stroke of half time the Binos levelled the score when Sam DAVIDSON shot home from close range after his initial effort had been blocked by Donoghue.

 

With 65 minutes gone Stirling got in front for the first time when Kavanagh set up DAVIDSON who slotted home his second goal of the night.

 

We however levelled the score 12 minutes later when JOHNSTON shot home from close range but just two minutes later KAVANAGH got his second goal of game.

 

However with just four minutes remaining sub Cameron MUIRHEAD slotted home a deserved equaliser.
