We extended our unbeaten run to four games with a goal less draw at Cliftonhill. Although not a classic game it was another useful point in our quest to remain in the division while for the home side it ensured that they achieved that goal and still have an outside chance of reaching the promotion play-offs.
The star attraction of the afternoon was perhaps the ‘extra rover’ a dog who twice entered the pitch in the opening ten minutes.
The real Rovers had the first chance of the afternoon when Georgiev sent in a shot which was gathered by Adam.
At the other end with 16 minutes gone McDaid headed over then Milne came close soon after.
Michael Dunlop and Reid both came close for the home side but Adam came to the rescue on both occasions.
We started the second half brightly and Spence sent a header wide while Stewart held a McDaid effort.
On the hour mark Adam was called back into action to deny Michael Dunlop and as the game went into the closing stages Stewart denied Hughes and Spence before a Miller effort was blocked in the last minute.
