After two defeats we picked up what could prove to be a valuable point at Station Park.
However we found ourselves a goal down in just three minutes. There was no one picking up Andy RYAN and he picked his spot to shoot side of shot wide of Adam after Denholm created the chance with a good cross. The visiting fans feared the worst but within 60 seconds we were level.
A defensive slip saw the ball run for Greig SPENCE and he rounded keeper Hill to slot home his 16th goal of the season.
Forfar continued to have the better of possession and Denholm tested Adam although we forced a couple of corners without testing the Loons’ defence.
However, on the half hour we threatened when Yaqub used space well and his shot roared just wide.
The second-half saw Adamson replaced by Callaghan and two minutes into the second-half a McDaid shot bounced off the top of the bar.
This shocked Forfar and the home side went in search of goals and Swankie tested Adam before a Martin shot was blocked, while O’Brien twice tested Adam.
Ryan and Swankie were next to bring Adam into action but the keeper looked in top form.
Sub Craig Johnston made several sorties into the Forfar danger area but the nearest to a goal came at the other end when Swankie fired in a shot which Adam saved to ensure a point.
