The opportunity to build upon the previous weeks win over Albion Rovers was missed at Ochilview, where we finished the match with ten for the fourth time this season after John Armstrong was sent off in the second half.
There was one change to the starting line up with new signing from Hamilton Aldin El Zabaidi making his debut and Sam Orritt dropping to the bench.
Our first chance of the afternoon came with three minutes gone when a downward header by Nish from a Brett corner was gathered by Barclay.
Both Roberson and Spence had shots saved by the respective keepers before the Warriors opened the scoring after nine minutes when Smith set up Colin McMENAMAIN and the striker slotted home from six yards.
The home side then went further ahead five minutes later when Liam HENDERSON ran into the box and sent a shot past Andrews into the far corner of the net.
We then made our first substitution of the afternoon when Nish, who had been unwell on the morning of the game, was replaced by Gordon Smith for his debut after signing the previous day.
Brett then sent a free kick from the edge of the box over the bar while at the other end a Cook free kick was blocked by the defensive wall.
Just short of the half hour we had to make a second replacement with Yaqub taking over from the injured Adamson.
The first half then closed with McManamain sending a shot over the bar from eight yards.
The second half was barely two minutes old when we went 3-0 down when a Cook cross was headed home at the back post by Allan SMITH.
Seven minutes later we were given a lifeline when Aldin El ZUBAIDI headed home a Brett corner.
The joy was short lived however and on the hour Alan COOK sent a shot under the body of the diving Andrews.
Three minutes later we pulled a goal back when a short pass back from Henderson was picked up by Greig SPENCE who scored for the second successive week.
A bad afternoon was then completed with 13 minutes to go when John Armstrong was sent off for a tackle on McMenamain.
