The under 19s two game winning run came to an end in a morning fixture at the Excelsior Stadium.Despite a bright start it was the Diamonds who took the lead after 23 minutes when Hunter could only parry a Cadden cross and Murray Loudon latched onto the ball with a diving header.

With 66 minutes gone we got an equaliser when Declan Byrne latched onto a poor pass back and raced in to chip the ball over keeper Grier and tap the ball into the empty net.

However, it took the home side only two minutes to restore their lead when Nicky Cadden was played through on goal and fired the ball past Hunter.

Two goals in the final four minutes then secured the Diamonds win Liam Crichton headed home from a Sutherland cross, and a minute into injury time Cadden sent over a low cross which Liam Coogans turned into the net.
