The under 19s opened their League Cup games with a convincing win at Station Park.
The youngsters however got off to a bad start when Callam McNeill was sent off after just ten minutes and two minutes later Liam McIntosh headed the home side into the lead.
The equaliser however came in 33 minutes when Milne went on a good run to set up Craig Johnstone who slotted the ball home from six yards and within sixty seconds Jack Nicholson put Cowden ahead.
Just short of the hour Nicholson added a third shooting home from 16 yards after a defence spitting pass from Miller.
Nicholson then turned provider with a great link up which allowed Lewis Milne to make it 4-1 after 70 minutes. Six minutes later Milne completed the scoring for the night.
