The Cowden under 19 side had a remarkable comeback in their Youth Division game at the Lochleven Community Campus in Kinross on Sunday afternoon.
Trailing 4-2 to the Red Lichties with just half an hour to go the Central Park youngsters blitzed their Angus opponents with five goals in 18 minutes to record a remarkable win.
In an even first half the visitors had taken the lead after 16 minutes when Jake Mair fired home a low shot before two goals in sixty seconds had put Cowden anhead.
Firstly Simon Docherty fired home from close range in 36 minutes after a corner was headed into his path by Hall. Lewis Milne then gave Cowden the lead when he headed home a deep cross from Callaghan.
However with three minutes of the half remaining Mair got his second goal of the afternoon with a powerful shot.
The visitors retook the lead after 57 minutes when Nick Mann scored from close range and a minute later Marcus Watt shot home to increase their lead.
Cowden pulled a goal back on the hour mark when Jamie Pyper headed home a Nicholson cross and five minutes later Docherty was fouled by keeper Whitton and slotted home the resultant spot kick.
In 71 minutes Cowden took the lead when a Pyper cross fell to Liam Callaghan who fired into the roof of the net.
A minute later Milne got his second goal of the afternoon with a low shot and in 75 minutes Jack Nicholson completed the scoring when he rolled the ball into an empty net after Whitton had spilled a Callaghan shot.
