An early second half penalty from Mark Ramsay saw us come from behind to earn our third successive 1-1 draw on the road.
The result however still saw us maintain top spot for the 20th successive week after challengers Arbroath once again lost a two goal lead at home against East Fife.
There were two changes to the side which were last gasp winners against Brechin the previous week. Dean Brett was ruled out due to injury and Scott Linton came in at left back with Kenny Adamson switching to the right.
Lewis Coult also made a return to the starting line up taking over up front from Greg Stewart who dropped down to the bench.
We started the game brightly and almost took the lead in the opening six minutes when McKenzie found himself clear on goal but keeper Adam done well to block his shot.
Although enjoying most of the possession we found ourselves a goal down six minutes from the break when former Central Parker Holmes set up Sean Lynch who sent a volley high into the top corner of the net from 20 yards.
Five minutes after the break we got back on level terms when Lilley fouled Linton in the box and Mark Ramsay slotted home the resultant spot kick for his eighth goal of the season.
After the equaliser there was a quick rush of yellow cards in a three minute period with Fisher and Lyle joining the home side’s Lovering in referee Murray’s book.
