Despite racing into a 3-1 lead at the interval we were left to settle for a point after two early second half goals saw Stranraer draw level at Central Park on Sunday afternoon.

Simon Docherty opened the scoring after 11 minutes when he slotted the ball past keeper McBride from eight yards after being set up by Miller.

The south west side drew level however seven minutes later when Luke Sinclair fired home a powerful header close range.

Two quick fire goals from Lewis Miller however put us in command midway through the first half firstly he fired home an angled shot after good work by Miller on 23 minutes and two minutes later he shot home from 17 yards.

A three minute period early in the second half proved to be an eventful one for the visitors Dean Arrol.

Firstly he headed home a Sandiland corner at the near post in 49 minutes and two minutes later he added a second goal to draw his side level before being sent off for an off the ball incident.
