Biography:

Innes Ritchie (Centre half, 2003-06) – Innes Ritchie was signed as an apprentice professional by Chelsea. He was only one season at Stamford Bridge before returning to Scotland. He joined Motherwell in 1992. His spell at Motherwell lasted for a number of years but he was given only limited opportunity to make his mark. A move to East Fife then rekindled his love for the game before brief spells at Berwick Rangers and Clydebank. He returned to Shielfield Park to help Berwick win promotion in 2000. 3 good seasons with the Rangers were followed by a couple of years at Arbroath. Keith Wright tried for some time to get Innes Ritchie to Central Park as he felt Innes was the type of character the team needed. Eventually, Innes did make the move and he became a highly respected figure at Central Park. As team captain, his leadership qualities were clearly evident. He was a hero to the Central Park support and his career culminated in receiving the 3rd Division trophy in 2006 after it was helicoptered into Central Park. He retired soon after and is now back in Scotland after a spell in Australia.
