Nicky Henderson (Midfield, 1992-94) – Played for Winchburgh Albion and Colchester United before joining Raith Rovers in 1991. Hampered by injury he only played in 1 match for Raith Rovers. Early in season 1992/93, Andy Harrow persuaded him to come to Central Park. He was an immediate hit with the Blue Brazil and his penalty winner at Premier League Partick is well remembered. That was Nicky’s first goal in senior football. He continued to impress with his skills and free running style. After scoring 14 goals in 54 League games for Cowden he was transferred to Falkirk for a fee of £30,000. He helped Falkirk to win promotion and then played for them in the Premier League where he scored in a 2-0 win over Celtic and in a 1-1 draw v Rangers. He had scored 7 goals in 40 League games for Falkirk before moving on to spend 3 seasons with Partick where he scored a further 7 goals in 65 League appearances. Subsequently enjoyed spells with Hamilton, Clyde and Stirling Albion.
