Kenny Adamson (Left back, 2007-17) – Kenny Adamson is a Lumphinnans lad. He was with Hill of Beath when he went senior with Livingston. In 2007, Kenny made his debut for Livingston v Queen of the South. After just a few matches for Livingston, Kenny came home to sign for his local senior club. He was to be a fixture in the Cowdenbeath side at left back for most of the next decade. This meant that he played in two promotion winning sides as well as Cowden’s 2012 title winning team. He also of course saw the other side of the Cowdenbeath rollercoaster. Kenny was a hard tackling full back and there was a spell where he tended to fall foul of referees in his younger days. He wasn’t a prolific scorer but won the club’s Goal of the Season award for his effort v East Stirling in 2009. Kenny was Cowden’s player of the year in 2013. His career was later hampered by injury. He hung up his boots in 2017 after a few games for Kelty Hearts. Kenny made 241 league appearances for Cowdenbeath FC.
