Boost for Youth Academy

Posted March 11, 2012

The Cowdenbeath Football Club Youth Academy has received welcome support from two highly respected businesses in the local area.

Carnegie College have generously agreed to loan the youth team their minibuses each weekend for transport to and from matches for the season, whilst the McDonalds Franchise at Fife Retail Park Halbeath have kindly donated a selection of fruit bags for every match throughout the season.

The club would like to thank the continued support given from these local businesses and all of our sponsors. Youth development is a key priority for Cowdenbeath FC and we have one of the most highly-rated set-ups in Scotland. The club is committed to giving talented young players the opportunity to receive first class coaching and the chance to progress to first team football. Running a youth academy takes a significant amount of finance and time so we are very grateful to our sponsors, team of coaches and volunteers for making it possible.
