Feegsy moves on

Young striker John Ferguson has joined 3rd Division Berwick Rangers following his release from Central Park at the end of January.

'Feegsy' joined the Blue Brazil as a 12-year old and was a prolific scorer at youth and reserve level during his eight years with the club. He was a key player in Brian Welsh's famed age-group and starred in the 17s as they won the Scottish League Cup in 2008, having made his debut for the first team weeks earlier against Queens Park.

In total, the player scored three goals in 29 appearances (22 as a sub) for Cowden. Most recently, the 20-year old was on loan with Vale of Leithen where he regularly found the back of the net.
