Preview: Forfar Athletic v Cowdenbeath

It's top versus bottom at Station Park on Saturday as Forfar Athletic and Cowdenbeath go head-to-head.

The sides drew 2-2 in Forfar in the league opener back in August but the club's fortunes have gone in different directions since that summer afternoon. The Blue Brazil currently top the league by eight points after defeating Airdrie United 2-0 last Saturday, and are unbeaten in the league since 29th October (eight games). In converse, Forfar have slumped to bottom place but Dick Campbell's side is packed with experience and secured a morale boosting away win at promotion hopefuls Stenhousemuir last weekend.

Colin Cameron has a strong squad to choose from with David Cowan available after extending his contact until the end of the campaign while Greg Stewart returns after missing last week's game with an ankle injury. New signing Derek Lyle got 85 minutes for the reserves in midweek and will be pushing for a starting slot after coming off the bench for his debut against Airdrie United.
