Colin Cameron and Lee Makel have been busy in transfer negotiations since the window opened and are hopeful of concluding permanent deals for two attacking players before the weekend after agreeing terms with both.
The squad is down in numbers after Jordan Morton and Kal Naismith both recently returned to Hearts and Rangers respectively on the completion of their loan deals and Cameron has been keen to add a a couple of players if he could attract the right quality to enhance the team.
Meanwhile, Craig Winter, of course, has been recalled from his loan spell with East Stirlingshire and Dene Droudge has extended his loan stay with Dundonald Bluebell until the end of the season, as he continues his return to full match fitness after 18 months out with a serious knee injury. Highly-rated 17-year old Dan Hall has moved to fellow Fife junior side Ballingry Rovers until May as part of his development programme.
Cameron is also hopefull of agreeing a contract extension with 29-year old right back David Cowan.
