Toorie makes loan move to the Shire

Craig Winter has made a short-term move to East Stirlingshire after agreeing to join the 3rd Division side on a month-long loan deal.

Toorie - who recently made his 400th appearance for the club - has not featured on a regular basis of late and will be available for 5 games for the Shire before returning to Central Park at the end of December to fight for his place.

"Craig has found himself in the unfortunate position of not being involved recently," explained Cameron.

"He is the type of lad that just wants to play football on a Saturday and we both agreed that it would be beneficial to go out on a short-term loan. He will get some games under his belt and come back in the new year ready to put in a claim for a place in the team."

The player is currently in his testimonial season and fans and players will pay tribute at a "this is your life" type event at Wee Jimmies on Saturday night.
