Dene Droudge has joined local junior side Dundonald Bluebell on loan until the end of the year as the talented defender steps up his comeback from long-term injury.
'Deno' was a first team regular during the 2009/10 promotion winning season but injured his knee against Clyde in March 2010 and spent 18 months on the sidelines. Following surgery and successful rehabilitation, the 22-year old made his comeback for the reserves against Queen of the South last month and started his first game last week as the second string defeated Queen's Park last week.
Droudge will be joined by a former team mate at Moorside after Jay Stein recently made the move from Ballingry Rovers.
