A Lewis Coult inspired twelve minute second half blitz propelled the Blue Brazil three points clear at the top of the Irn-Bru Second Division table.
The first half was a insipid affair with neither side able to master the windy conditions with numerous passes going astray.
Cowden began to get a grip of the game after the interval but it was the introduction of Lewis Coult that ultimately changed the game. Three minutes after replacing Jordan Morton, Scott Linton found the big striker with a delightful ball and Coult (60) made no mistake from 16 yards.
A quick fire double from Greg Stewart (68 & 72) - both from assists from the match sponsor's man of the match, Marc McKenzie - sealed the points and cemented our position as Scotland's top scorers. Central Park for thrills, spills and goals!
On-loan Aberdeen midfielder Nicky Low scored a consolation for the Loons with 15 minutes remaining.
The win was the perfect early birthday present for manager, Colin Cameron.
