Queen's Park 'A' 1 Cowdenbeath 'A' 2

A later winner from Kyle Miller at Lesser Hampden kept the Blue Brazil in touch with Reserve League cup leaders Hamilton Accies.

It was a very young Cowden side with six under 19s in the starting line-up alongside Dene Droudge, who was making his first start since recovering from a long-term knee injury. Former Central Parker Peter Bradley was a familiar face in the home back four.

Cowden opened the scoring after 12 minutes when Jamie Pyper broke down the right and crossed for Coult to slot home from 8 yards.

The home side equalised 8 minutes later when the no.10 found the top corner with a 20 yard drive after the Cowden defence failed to clear their lines.

Queen's Park had the better of the 2nd half but Miller headed home from close range in the closing minutes after getting on the end of a great Lewis Milne delivery from the right wing.

TEAM: Lee Wilson, Dene Droudge (Simon Doherty, 65), Murray Christie, Liam Callaghan (Dan Hall, 79), Dale Finnie, Thomas O'Brien, Jamie Pyper, Kyle Miller, Lewis Milne, Lewis Coult & Paul Byrne.
