Reserve League Cup

A young Cowden side lost 2-0 to Ross County in the Reserve League Cup at Victoria Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The team travelled up to Dingwall for a 1pm kick-off with the squad mainly consisting youngsters from the full-time youth set-up. Jay Shields, who made his comeback form injury on Saturday after missing the entire pre-season programme due to injury, got another 65 minutes under his belt while first teamers Cameron McKay and Scott McBride (pictured) also got a run out.
