Treatment Table News

Posted September 22, 2011

Danny Mackay received some good news this week when his scan results revealed he has damaged his knee cartilage rather than a re-occurance of the ligament injury. However, Dan faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines and a further scan will reveal if the cartilage is torn and, if so, will require an operation.

Fellow long-term abscentee Dene Droudge is hoping to step-up his recovery from a serious knee injury next week by playing his first competitive game since March 2010. All going well, Dene will feature for the reserves against Queen of the South at Central Park on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile Lee Makel and Mark Ramsay are unavailable for Saturday's visit from Albion Rovers. Makel injured his ankle in a recent reserve game while Ramsay is taking longer than expected to recover from the ankle injury suffered against Brechin City in mid August. It is hoped that Mini will come back into contention next weekend.
