The Blue Brazil secured their first three points of the season with a well deserved 1-0 victory over Clyde at Central Park this afternoon. The win moves Cowden onto 5 points and are now undefeated in the last three games.

Jay Stein was the goal hero for the second successive game with the winner after 23 minutes following good link up play between Gareth Wardlaw and Jon Robertson.

Cowden were the better team from start to finish, without reaching the level of performance in the last couple of matches, but could not find the second goal that their superiority merited.
