Community Day for League Cup

Cowdenbeath Football Club, in partnership with the Scottish Communities League Cup and the Scottish Football League, will be opening its doors on Saturday afternoon (30th July) for a special Community Day.

The Community Day will see Scottish Football League clubs work in partnership with the Scottish Government to increase opportunities in sport and physical activity for young people in the community, encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the three values of Respect, Responsibility and Tolerance to football fans and families throughout Scotland. 

As such, the following programme has been put in place for under 16s:

• 1.30-2pm - Coaching/fun sessions on the Central Park pitch
• 3.45-4pm - Further coaching/fun sessions

The youngsters will also take in the game between Cowdenbeath and Stenhousemuir.

The sessions will be run by our community coaches, Max Nicholson and Kevin Carfray, with assistance from two members of our out under 19s team.

Also, don't forget that under 16s, accompanied by an adult, can attend the game free of charge!
