Duo pen new deals

The preperations for the new season continued at pace tonight with key defensive duo John Armstrong and Kenny Adamson putting pen to paper on new deals, taking the 1st team squad numbers up to 17.

"Re-signing John and Kenny is a real boost for the Club", commented Colin Cameron.

"They are very important players for and give the team a good presence in defence."

"The squad is really coming together and I hope to be in a position to re-sign one or two more next week."

"The boys have really looked after themselves and I'm delighted with the training sessions so far. We had a good work out tonight and will have the full and part-timers back in together again on Saturday for a double session."

Negotiations are ongoing with the remainig out of contract players with terms agreed with one and talks ongoing with another two. Cameron has also been assessing a number of trialists at training as he looks to add to his squad while a deal has been agreed with a goalkeeper and the paperwork should be completed next week.
