Colin Cameron returned from holiday at the weekend and the new manager wasted no time by completing the paperwork to re-sign 7 more players and verbally agreed deals to re-sign a further 3.
Cameron has secured Craig Winter, Thomas O'Brien, Jon Robertson, Mark Ramsay and Marc McKenzie on new contracts while Dean Brett and John Ferguson have agreed 6-month deals.
"I'm delighted that they have agreed to re-sign", commented Cameron.
"They are all very good footballers with a real hunger for the game and it gives us a solid base to push on next season. They played 1st division football last year in a team that more than competed at that level and came up just short in the end.
"I have verbally agreed re-signing terms with three other players and I am very hopeful of retaining the majority, if not all, of those offered terms.
"I will be looking to add 3 or 4 new faces in order to add some more quality, if the budget allows, with a couple of goalkeepers the priority."
The squad was back for pre-season this week with the full-timers back in on Monday and the part-timers taking part in a light training session on Tuesday night. The pre-season programme will pick up over the coming weeks ahead of the first friendly against Spartans on Saturday 9th July.
