CFC Art Competition

Cowdenbeath Football Club, in conjunction with the Supporters Club, is running a community art competition in order to find new designs for:

• a new Cowdenbeath Football Club logo
• a new Cowdenbeath FC Youth Academy logo
• a new Junior Supporters Club badge
• a Supporters Club Life Members badge

The competition was launched in November 2010 and over 200 entries were received from students from Beath High School and Lochgelly High School as well as primary school pupils in the Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly catchment area. The initial entries have been considered by members of the Supporters Club with 23 selected for the final shortlist which will be judged by some of our Honorary Supporters including Club Chairman Donald Findlay QC, Gordon Brown MP, Tricia Marwick MSP, author Ian Rankin and others.

A similar competition was held 5 years ago to celebrate the Club's 125th year which coincided with the Blue Brazil clinching a championship trophy for the first time in 67 years.
