Play-Off Format

The Scottish Football League has announced the format for the 2010/11 Irn-Bru Championship Play-Offs. Jimmy Nicholl's team, unless they beat Ross County by 11 goals on Saturday, will take their place as 'Team A' and will face either Brechin City or East Fife in the semi-final - Brechin currently lead East Fife by 3 points with 1 game remaining.

The winners of that tie will face either Ayr united or Forfar Athetic for a place in the First Division for season 2011/12.

The Blue Brazil will be on their travels for the first leg on Wednesday 11th May with Central Park hosting the return leg on Saturday 14th May. If the Club progresses to the final they will again be away the following Wednesday for the 1st leg with the decider at Central Park on Sunday 22nd May.

First Division Play-Off Semi-Final

• Wednesday 11th May - Team D (4th placed 2nd Div) v Team A (9th Placed 1st Div)
• Wednesday 11th May - Team C (3rd placed 2nd Div) v Team B (2nd placed 2nd Div)
• Saturday 14th May - Team A v Team D
• Saturday 14th May - Team B v Team C

First Division Play-Off Final

• Wednesday 18th May - Team B or C v Team A or D
• Sunday 22nd May - Team A or D v Team B or C

N.B. The home team in the Final 1st Leg ties was determined by the drawing of lots by the former Deputy Secretary of the SFL, Mr. Jim Kirkpatrick, and the SFL Chief Executive, Mr. David Longmuir, on Wednesday, 27th April, 2011.
