New sponsor & home kit unvailed

Cowdenbeath Football Club is delighted to announce a new kit sponsorship deal for season 2011/12 and also unvail the new umbro home kit design - modelled by Thomas O'Brien and Richard Vauls.

The new home kit will be officially launched on Saturday 30th April 2011 at Central Park and the team will wear the Umbro kit for the first time against Stirling Albion that day. The kit will be available for sale from the Club Shop and the Blue Brazil Online Shop from the 30th. Get ready to be one of the first people to get their hands on the stunning new kit!

Cowden's home and away kit will be sponsored by Singapore-based Subsea Pressure Controls Ltd. The company operates in the Oil and Gas industry and is managed by Neil Fentie. Neil joined the Cowdenbeath FC Board in October 2010 and provided significant investment towards the cost of the new floodlights at Central Park.

Club Chairman Donald Findlay QC said, "We are delighted to have secured deals with Subsea and Umbro for season 2011/12."

"Neil joined the Board earlier this season and the sponsorship agreement with Subsea Pressure Controls Ltd is another sign of his commitment to Cowdenbeath Football Club. The terms are very beneficial to the Club and we are grateful for Neil's continued support.

"The new kit deal has been brokered by Edinburgh sports kit specialists Football Nation and we are delighted that the Cowden strips will be produced by a world renowned football kit supplier such as Umbro.

"The latest announcements are all part of our vision to strengthen and grow the great Blue Brazil brand."

Umbro, via Football Nation, will be supplying Cowdenbeath FC with all kit requirements for the 2011/12 season. Other exciting designs from the new range, including the away kit, will be launched over the summer months.

The new Cowdenbeath Home Shirt is made from a 165gm² textured matt polyester with an enhanced underarm construction, twin needle stitch reinforcement on the seams and a clean finished internal construction for improved user comfort.
