New kit deal - 2011/12

Posted April 16, 2011

Cowdenbeath Football Club is delighted to announce a new kit deal for season 2011/12 with world renowned football kit supplier Umbro.

The new deal has been brokered by Edinburgh team kit specialists Football Nation who will be supplying Cowdenbeath FC with all kit requirements for the 2011/12 season. The team will wear their new home strip - with the new design kept under wraps for now - for the first time against Stirling Albion at home on April the 30th 2011 and the shirt will be available for sale from the Club shop and online from the same day.

Football Nation Director, Steven Dow said, “Umbro have a great heritage in providing top quality kits to teams of the highest standard throughout the world and have indeed supplied Cowdenbeath and Brasil in the past. It seemed only right given the Blue Brazil connection, that Umbro were happy to provide a deal for Cowdenbeath FC for the forthcoming season. We will be working hard with the club to ensure that supporters are offered an exciting range of high quality branded Cowdenbeath replica and leisure wear.”

The new Cowdenbeath Home Shirt is made from a 165gm² textured matt polyester with an enhanced underarm construction, twin needle stitch reinforcement on the seams and a clean finished internal construction for improved user comfort. The new shirt is entirely representative of a style which will be worn by teams in the English Premiership.

For over 80 years Umbro has been the “kit of choice” for many of football’s greatest clubs, both domestically and internationally, so when it comes to tailoring to your team’s needs you’re in the very best hands with Umbro.

Other exciting designs from the new range, including the away kit, will be launched over the summer months.

Keep an eye on the website and local press for further details in the coming weeks.
