The Blue Brazil picked up another precious point against promotion candidates Falkirk at Central Park on Tuesday night.
David Hay kept his first home clean sheet of the season and was given good protection by his defence with 19-year old Thomas O'Brien outstanding in the centre of defence alongside Craig Winter.
It was a scrappy game with few chances but sub Archie Campbell should have won it with 5 minutes to after getting on the end of a quality delivery from fellow sub Lewis Coult but his header from 8 yards glanced just wide.
The draw moves Cowden 11 points clear of bottom side Stirling Albion and just 1 point behind Ross County.
