Campbell agrees extended deal

The Blue Brazil signed up Archie Campbell on an extended loan deal this afternoon that will see the 20-year old Rangers striker remain at Central Park until the end of the season.

Campbell had originally signed on a one month deal but Jimmy Nicholl was quick to take up an option to keep the Scotland youth internationalist until May.

The youngster, who signed for Rangers from Cowdenbeath as a 15-year old, has started the last four games and scored his first senior goal against Partick Thistle recently. Campbell has yet to feature in competitive action for the Ibrox side but could force his way into the reckoning if he impresses and works hard during his spell at Central Park.
