Dougie joined Cowden from Alloa Athletic in the summer of 2005 and made 94 appearances during his three year spel at Central Park. He won the 3rd division championship in his first season with the club and was a key player in the following two 2nd division campaigns. The popular player re-joined Alloa in 2008 before moving onto Raith Rovers the following season. Currently on loan with Brechin City.
