Public Consultation - Proposed Relocation Plan

PostedFebruary 14, 2011

Cowdenbeath Football Club is holding public consultation events this week to exhibit proposals to develop Central Park and relocate the football club to a new site in the Broad Street area of the town.

The plans are at a very early stage but it is hoped that there will be strong public support for proposals that aim to significantly support the regeneration of Cowdenbeath town centre, and provide a 21st century football facility that will both benefit the local community and safeguard the future of the town's senior football club.

Local residents, fans of Cowdenbeath FC and interested parties are invited to the public exhibitions in order to view and discuss the proposals with club representatives and the design team.

  • Wednesday 16th February 2011, 3-8pm @Central Park, Cowdenbeath
  • Thursday 17th February 2011, 1-6pm @Central Park, Cowdenbeath

The exhibition (unmanned) will also be available to view at Central Park on Saturday 19th February - before and after the Fife derby against Raith Rovers.

If you are unable to attend any of the exhibitions and would like more details on the materials on display please write to:
