Match Postponed

Cowdenbeath's home Irn-Bru First Division home fixture against Partick Thistle on Saturday has been postponed after a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon.

The Club has not played a home game since the 6th of November due to the adverse weather and the recent freezing temperatures has dashed any hopes of hosting a game this weekend. New groundsman Colin Haddow had the pitch in good condition earlier in the week but the sharp frost that set in on Wednesday night has left areas of the playing surface rock solid.

Meanwhile, the SFL have announced that the re-arranged away fixture against Ross County will be played on Saturday 5th February 2011, kick off 3pm. The match had originally been due to take place in late December but fell victim to the weather.
