Tuesday night's game against Dundee saw John Dempster clock up his 50th appearance since joining Cowden from Stenhousemuir in January 2008 - he also scored his 12th goal against Brechin City last Saturday. Jay Stein meanwhile made his 30th appearance on Tuesday night and has scored three times.
Two players made their 1st team debuts last Saturday at Brechin. Young defender Peter Bradley started in the heart of the defence after starring for the under 19s and reserves last season. Peter, who has been capped at under 17 level for Northern Ireland, was previously with Glenavon and Maiden City Academy in his homeland before joining Cowden last summer. Back up keeper Kris Bower also made an unexpected debut after David Hay was red carded after only eight minutes. Kris was signed last month on amateur forms from Rosyth Recreation under 21s.
