Floodlight update

Work is progressing well on the Central Park floodlight upgrade with the project on schedule to complete next week ahead of the Fife derby against Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday 27th November (kick off 3pm).

The old lamps and control gear have been removed from all eight pylons with the re-cabling due to start tomorrow. The contractor also plans to have one of the pylons fully fitted with the new Phillips lamps and tested tomorrow afternoon.

The project is being jointly funded by Neil Fentie (Investment Director), the supporters and the Scottish Football Partnership.

Fittingly, Jimmy Nicholl will be switching on the Cowdenbeath festive lights on the High Street on Friday evening. The family event, which has been organised by Cowdenbeath Civic Week, starts at 3.30pm with the lights-switch on at 5.30pm. Come along to the High Street and support this civic event and your local community.
