Jimmy Nicholl added to his squad last week with the addition of former Airdrie United left sided player Paul Byrne.

The 19-year old spent three season with Airdrie as a full-time player and was a key member of the team that reached the quarter final of the Scottish Youth Cup last season.

The youngster made his debut for the under 19s away to Queen of the South last weekend and was on the bench for the first team at Cappielow on Saturday.

Nicholl was unable to complete a couple of loan signings that he had been working on prior the closure of the transfer window but is still hopefull of concluding some other business in the coming weeks.
