Academy update

Paul Mooney's under 19 side are in action on Sunday against Clyde at Beath High School (kick off 2pm). Mooney will be assisted this season by Derek Nicholson who joins the club from Raith Rovers.

The 19s kicked of their SFL Youth Initiative campaign last week going down 4-1 away to Falkirk.

A Cowden XI, featuring mainly under 19s, recentlhy lost 4-3 against Jeanfield Swifts in a bounce game. Lee Sibanda (2) and Mark Smith found the net for the Blue Brazil. On Tuesday night a youthful Cowden side played Forfar Athletic in a bounce game at Central Park. John Ferguson opened the scoring before Ian Campbell equalised for the Loons.
