Legends Day - 22nd August

Cowdenbeath Football Club is hosting a Legends Day on Sunday 22nd August 2010 to mark our achievement in gaining promotion to the First Division. Fans can enjoy hospitaltiy in the company of three players - Liam Buchanan, Gary Fusco and Dougie Hill -  from Mixu Paatelainen's legendary championship winning side before taking in the game against Queen of the South.

The package costs £45 per head (£35 for season ticket holders) and includes the following:

• Admission to the match
• 3 course meal (Euorpean and Indian options available)
• Complimentary drink
• Half time refreshment
• Complimentary programme
• Meet the manager and players

The meal will be hosted in the Shimla Palace, which is located next to Central Park, before moving onto the club bar in the ground.

The Club arranged two similar events during season 2008/09 that are still spoken about today by those that were able to attend and the experience for the supporters and players alike were truly legendary!. Supporters from various ages, and generations of the team, were joined by great players from Cowden's past.
